Before we meet: get familiar with two apps

Candidates who complete the steps below are invited to a paid, onsite onboarding session with Mike, the owner — where we'll do the job together at the property.
  1. Slack. Slack is a workplace messaging app — think group texting, organized into rooms called channels. We'll invite you to a private channel so you can send photos, ask questions, and message us if you get stuck. When you apply, confirm which email we should send the invite to (the one on your application, or a different one).
  2. Pooli. Pooli is a free app residential pool owners use to record water-test results and chemical treatments.
Download the regular Pooli app, not Pooli Pro. The paid version has a scanning feature — you don't need to pay for anything or turn that on. (When we work together onsite, we'll use Pooli Pro.) Instructional videos: pooli.app/videos

    In the free app:
    ① Create a fictitious pool
② Enter a fictitious water test
③ Record adding some fictitious pool chemicals
④ Post a screenshot of the results in the Slack channel

Step 1 of 3

Apply for Pool & Spa Care Assistant.

Two minutes, straight to Mike. Answer the two screening questions and we'll follow up — completing the Slack + Pooli steps is what earns the paid onsite onboarding.

Are you about 10 minutes from Twin Lakes, WI? *

You choose the times, but the pool needs consistency. Can you commit to at least 3 visits per week? *

The pool deck doesn't care about the forecast. Are you comfortable working outdoors in all weather and lifting 40+ lbs? *

Before we meet, you'll get familiar with two free apps: Slack (our work group-text) and Pooli (to log pool water) — download regular Pooli, not Pooli Pro; you won't pay for anything. Are you up for that? *

Tip: tell us which email to send your Slack invite to (this one, or another).
