This role is not about re-cleaning — it's about elevating the space.
Big Toy Stays LLC owns and operates EnglishPrairieBnB, a high-end vacation rental home in Twin Lakes, WI, dedicated to crafting an unforgettable 5-star guest experience through full-service management, unique amenities, and a passion for perfection.
We're seeking a meticulous, hospitality-focused Guest Readiness Enhancer to orchestrate the final, critical details that transform a clean house into a breathtaking home. Our professional cleaning partners handle the primary cleaning; you're the final curator responsible for absolute perfection — artful staging, systems checks, and a hands-on approach to any detailing required for a flawless result. Your keen eye and thoughtful touches are what make every guest's first impression magical.
Hours: 3:00–5:00 PM on check-out days. Most common check-out days are Sundays and Mondays. Typically 2–14 hours per week based on bookings — ideal for supplemental income.
Guest experience & ambiance
- Orchestrate the final presentation of the home to 5-star luxury standards — artful staging of pillows, throws, remotes, and decor.
- Curate the arrival experience: ideal temperatures and strategic, welcoming lighting.
- Ensure all guest-facing supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, soaps) are beautifully stocked, staged, and counted.
- Confirm welcome amenities are perfectly placed and presented.
- Final quality inspection of all linens and towels — pristine, no stains, tears, or imperfections.
Outdoor & amenity perfection
- Pristine curb appeal: patrol for debris, tidy patios and entryways with a leaf blower, remove cobwebs — year-round, all weather.
- Meticulously prepare outdoor amenities: clean, inviting firepit area; spotless grill with adequate fuel.
- Act as an extension of our aquatics team — basic water balancing, chemistry testing, and light cleaning so the pool and hot tub are sparkling and safe (comprehensive training provided).
Quality & systems assurance
- Test key systems before arrival: seamless Wi-Fi, perfect TV/remote operation (including batteries), optimal HVAC.
- Verify plumbing — run faucets, flush toilets, check hot water and pressure.
- Check major appliances, including refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
- Guarantee safety and security: door locks and keypad codes, safety equipment, first-aid kits and emergency info accessible.
Proactive property stewardship
- Document new damage, wear and tear, or maintenance needs with detailed photos and reports.
- Take ultimate ownership of the home's condition — spot-clean oversights, wipe smudges, touch up missed spots, dust-free surfaces.
- Communicate professionally with the owner and maintenance teams about issues or patterns.
- Take high-quality photos of the fully prepared property to confirm it's 100% guest-ready and notify management.
- Assist with on-site logistics: restocking supply closets, receiving deliveries, occasional errands.
Candidate requirements
- An impeccable eye for detail and genuine passion for presentation and order.
- Proactive, positive attitude; works independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to do outdoor tasks year-round, in all seasonal weather.
- Tech-savvy with a reliable smartphone; comfortable with apps for communication, reporting, and checklists.
- Resourceful and handy — can troubleshoot Wi-Fi/TVs and handle minor tasks (light bulbs, basic tools).
- Excellent communication and a sense of urgency on time-sensitive matters.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Lives in or very near Twin Lakes, WI (ideally under 10 minutes).
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Our ideal candidate
- Understands that small details create a big impact — and takes immense pride and ownership in their work.
- Rolls up their sleeves: 5-star means handling whatever task makes the home perfect.
- Exceptionally reliable and punctual, thrives on detailed checklists, solves problems independently, and performs under guest-arrival deadlines.
- Luxury hospitality, property management, or staging experience is a significant plus.
- Excited to be trained as an extension of our aquatics team — no pool experience required, but aptitude for learning water balancing is essential.
Before we meet: get familiar with Slack
Candidates who complete the steps below are invited to a paid, onsite onboarding session with Mike, the owner — where we'll perform the job together at the property.
- Slack. Slack is a workplace messaging app — think group texting, organized into rooms called channels. We'll invite you to a private channel so you can send photos, ask questions, and message us if you get stuck. When you apply, confirm which email we should send the invite to (the one on your application, or a different one).
- Enhance one room. Pick one room in your house. Improve it the way you would for a guest. Post each fix as you go in that Slack channel — a photo plus a short caption. Then do a half-verify pass.
That's it. Complete those steps and we'll set a paid day to do the role together onsite.
